Beth Kent
Beth is a highly regarded global executive who specializes in brand expansion through international franchising and product licensing in the apparel, home, and accessory categories. She has worked with numerous lifestyle brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Anne Klein, to name a few. Beth believes maintaining brand consistency across all touch points is one of the keys to creating a successful brand. She works with companies to identify growth opportunities, recommend process improvements, and develop and execute strategic plans and partnerships that ensure brand integrity while driving business forward.
An original member of Tommy Hilfiger’s licensing department, she was integral in the development of its domestic product and international distribution programs which reached $1.2 billion wholesale. In her role as Executive Vice President of International, Beth built a team of 32, and developed and managed the partnerships in Asia, Latin America, Europe, Australia and South Africa. During her 14-year tenure at Tommy Hilfiger, she spent 2 years at the headquarters in Amsterdam where she spearheaded the product-licensing program for the European market.
Prior to joining Tommy Hilfiger, Beth honed her skills at Polo Ralph Lauren where she worked in the areas of advertising, store franchising and licensing. She lived for three years in South America working with the local partners to launch the Polo Ralph Lauren brand in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Beth received a B.A. from Hamilton College with a major in French and a Minor in Studio Art. She was also one of the founding members of the Women’s Ice Hockey team there. Beth continues to pursue creative endeavors and is an avid photographer and screenwriter.
